Sophie from a true rarity. The tree on which it is based is a nearly 300-year-old sycamore tree, which fell on one of the hotels on Margarett Island as a result of a strong storm in May 2021, causing serious damage. Todays Sophie was born from one of the thicker branches of this tree. Another impudently rare interesting thing is that during its preparation we discovered a very interesting black spot, which when I opened, revealed itself to us as an ugly memory of history. There is a 1956, 4-5 cm splinter drilled into the tree, which has grown nicely around the tree over the years. This splinter can be felt in its entirety at the bottom of the table. The sight itself is amazing live. The Y branch, which gives the legs in this case, produces incredible patterns and drawings. A combination of burgundy, dark brown, light brown and reddish colors, speckled with wonderful, scale-like motifs in the strapwork. She is my favorite Sophie so far. It has everything I love in a tree.
